Since starting work in the photographic industry in 1986 – Philip Stewart has quickly become known as one of the leading photographers in the North East of Scotland. Philip, who is a licentiate member of both the British Institute of Professional Photographers and the Master Photographers Association – has over the years won an impressive number of awards for his work. These include much coveted awards from Fuji and Kodak as well as the B.I.P.P. and M.P.A. (Both institutes recognising and awarding his work in 2002). Philip Stewart Photographics began trading in 1997 and in October 2002 Philips new custom-built studio opened its doors to the public. Set in 25 acres of rural Buchan Countryside 'The Studio' is a testimony to the hard work and dedication of Philip and his Studio Team – all of whom are totally committed to the art of photography. A true 'people' person, his warm and friendly personality is reflected in the relaxed and natural photographs he is known for.
